Pretty much what Agostinho said.
Good luck to Travis, he'll get a clap from me.

I think the club's offer as reported was fair. I don't blame Dodd for taking Perth's offer, good luck to him.

I am as you all probably are sad to see Dodd and Reid go and I will certainly cheer them when they play in front of me next but I think its now certainly up to the club to now prove they made to right decision in letting them go.
Who they sign to replace these guys will have big shoes to fill IMO, and as excited to see who they get to replace Paul and Travis I will certainly be critical of them and the club if they don't play as well if not better then them.

Pretty disappointed 2 c both leave. Dodd has been a legend of this club, and he has shown in the last 6 weeks that he still has something to offer on the field. As for Reid, he has had an awesome season, and he will be a big loss, the runs he makes from midfield are brilliant. So yeah, i wished they both stayed! Also, please for the love of god, re-sign Adam Hughes NOW!!! I love his work rate and ability to play in numerous positions!
Re: Travis Dodd is moving west, Reid no longer required.
Bad luck Travis leaving, has been a good servant of the club and would have been nice to give him a send off in front of the crowd at Hindmarsh. But lets face it he's not as fast as he was, has only one leg and its not that powerful anymore, also has a recurring groin problem. That may be a factor and may not be so bad on the sandy WA ground.
Reid may be no loss, has played okay but his ego is bigger than his ability, could do a Jamo when he gets to Sydney.
I'm sure there will be more trial than tribulation before the new season starts

Sounds ominous!I am sure there is more to all this than meets the eye.
Have heard some very disturbing rumours about the club today.
Ironically, Glory may get a good coach and win silverware before the " perenially under-achieveing " Reds.
For those pathetic oxygen thieves that will BOO Dodd - DON'T

This MV fan may have a point. I like Dodd and it would have been great to have him as an impact player - not to mention to be a one club man - but I think it's worth asking whether he was reliably effective. I can't help but think of that one on one with the Gamba keeper he put wide on the counter. Never the less, a great servant and I wish him all the best.

Front runner, likes to make runs loses the ball, doesn't chase back to recover the ball, makes another run gets a throw in, puts his hands on his hips for the next 5 minutes. Goes on mazy run, beats 3 players misses open goal puts his hands on his hips for the next 5 minutes."

We all would love Travis to stay but the reality is he isn't worth the extra money.

Hasn't the worm turned with regards to the opinion of Adam Hughes. Surely the story of the year. He's gone from being booed by his own supporters (during the player introductions no less) to be a MUST sign.
Really disappointed about Dodd, but there is no room for sentiment in pursuit of championships. I feel sorry for Travis that now he will have to attend barbecue's at Naum Sekulovski's house.

Absolutely, he was diabolical last year but he's really turned it around this season. He just wins so much ball in the midfield, has a great engine. Technically not great but doesn't really need to be in that role.Hasn't the worm turned with regards to the opinion of Adam Hughes. Surely the story of the year. Which is why I'm looking forward to seeing what Rini does over this eternal off-season.
I can't agree with people knocking his signings. Dario looks good. Doesn't speak English yet and will get better. Usucar also looks like a decent pick-up who will develop under Rini and as part of his system.
Slory. Yeah, definitely underwhelming so far, but to already dismiss him is ridiculous.
I really hope Hughes stays too. Good luck to Travis, I understand why he went.
But with the new guys still settling in and Caravella on the way (and won't he be boning up at the thought of playing in front of a Hindmarsh crowd every home game after Sunday?), we're in a decent place.

Re: Travis Dodd is moving west, Reid no longer required.
based on what we know of our squad for next season i can only find a place for him on the bench...
Rini wants competition for spots, imagine Flores has a bad game and next game is put to the bench replaced by caravella... ohhh the depth

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie
