Anymore signings?

So do we think there will be anymore AU signings in this window?
I'm very pleased with the signings made, I would have to say this has probably been our best transfer window ever (I'm saying this off no thought what's so ever)

Are there anymore signings we need? Do we think AU need a marquee?

I say no to a marquee unless Wesley Sneijder owes Rini a favour or something! I would like to see AU remain fairly tight with their money for now.

Maybe a right back or a tall young striker, that’s all I can think of….

As far as marquees go. I tend to agree that we don't need one. However, would like to see Eugene & Slory being made our marquee players (only 2 in our squad that should qualify*) just so their salaries are outside of the cap, freeing up more room for new players.

*MV's signing of Ricardinho as their marquee player suggests the criteria for marquee players has been relaxed/abolished.

We have been very proactive in the transfer market but I would still like us to sign a couple of players for the future. I think that we must try to sign David Williams. He can play as a striker or a winger and is a tremendous talent. Apart from his versatility he has great pace and skill-a tremendous talent. He has also had experience overseas having played for Brondby in Denmark.He would be fantastic in a good side like United and playing alongside Van Dijk.

I don't know how good Bodrusic is but I would like a top class central defender to lead and organise our defence. There are many good players that could be available in Europe and it would be great if we could unearth another Milan Ivanovic.

Alternatively,I would love to see us signing Lucas Neill as a marquee player. Apart from the promotional value,he would be fantastic and would strengthen our defence which is not our strongest point.

A good up and coming young striker and possibly another right back to back up Watson and we are all set for another assualt on the Championship.

No need for a marquee. Our squad is shaping up beautifully under Rini and I can't think of anyone worth destabilising that for.

Sydney very cleverly built a squad around Yorke in season 1, but the league has grown in standard since then and I don't think it can work like that again.

Sasa is still contracted an wants to try an make it in Europe. But his buy out fee is a couple mil from sugnowblahh so forget sasa for now

In one sense i would kill to have Harry play for us but god i am getting sick of listening to his interviews! God he talks some crap!

But IMO the best Aussie footballer bar NONE!

Yeah i feel like our crowds are smart enough not to need a marquee i do agree making Marcos or Serg one to keep them would probably work best for me!

Lucas Neill is not as ridiculous as you may think.

Throw him Marquee status, pay him $1m per season. Would cement our weakest position on the field (CB) whilst showing Watson how to play RB properly.

Gerard and co. play their cards right and splash thje cash he could get here.
