And I agree with bringing Ognenovski back, that would make us unstoppable.
I hear he is on about $700,000 per season.
He said he would have stayed in Adelaide for half that i would if he would come back for that?

I doubt it! I'd be surprised if he came back for $700,000! Having just won the ACL and all.

i dont think rini is building an attack heavy squad.

All of these signings are only till the end of the season, its very unlikely all will be re-signed, im quite sure rini is signing these guys as a view till the end of the season.

i think the signings he makes in the off season will speak volumes for the team he wants to create

I suspect Ognenovski is under contract, so even if he did want to come back and we could pay him what he wanted - I doubt we would pay the transfer fee he would command.

Would not mind all 3 of the Griffiths boys actually, all are quite capable players.

Ogga, Emerton, A. Griffifths

Try and sure up the defense.

Ogga should qualify as the Aus marquee.

I wasn't a huge fan of A. Griffiths for us i know we didn't see the best of him fitness-wise but personally for a big defender he wasn't exactly hard at it. But he was definately a great player for Newcastle. Does anyone know how he is going in China?

I thought it was Korea.

A. Griffiths began badly - just looked like a Red card waiting to happen, then with a few more matches he was looking like Costanzo - vision and sublime feet skill.
A real pity the FFA management let him go, with him we'd be top now no problem

Yeah probably with a decent pre-season under his belt he would have been a different player.

The more i think about it the more i think he would probably fit into our side really nicely. I like squads having players like him or Watson, players who are capible of filling more then one position.

Definitely went to China - and will be playing ACL next year (provided he stays with Hangzhou Greentown).

Val has written a story about Euge maybe missing about a month with a hand injury but in the story he mentions
Rini is sweating on the signing Joel Griffiths or a Costa Rican international midfielder.

No talk of that international right back Rini mentioned a week ago. :(
