First game in the Red Army. Fuck I'm devo. Lots of promising signs, but promising signs doesn't change the fact that we lost another intense game in the dying seconds.

Choi MUST start next game, and once he gets his citizenship we MUST sign him.

I think its showing up how poor Muscat is as a manager. He inherited a squad assembled by Ange, and added Berisha. So far so obvious. Bozanic has gone to shit under him, FBK looks lost and even Austin is a one trick pony. Not the managerial genius he wants to believe he is.

And the incessant shirt-tugging his bunch of hacks got away with was insane.

But with team with the talent Victory have on paper, we outdid them with no Celo, no Cirio, and 2 youth players. Tonight stings but I can see good things coming

So frustrating to get physically kicked off the park again, I don't want to be always complaining that referees screw us over, as I absolutely loathe the term salty and don't wish to be subjected to it, but how the actual fuck was Baro still on the field, at least 4 yellow card tackles from him. The FFA better ask MV for a please explain for the amount of fouls, like they did for us a couple of years ago when we had 22 or something like that- not that it does any good.

The way MV and WSW constantly get away with this sort of shit is an endorsement from the FFA and just another reason this league isn't as good as it could be.

In saying all that, we could have taken our chances and won the game, it'll all click and we'll start to win but not if we can't keep our players from getting contact injuries every game.

Well the result was disappointing but wow did the youth play well. Sick of watching teams hacks us down over and over again with refs just waving it on as frees. Wsw and victory need to be stopped with their bullshit tactics.

So pissed that Baro was still on the pitch. Seriously what the hell??

Annoying game but we played ok, lots of positives, just hard to swallow 2 weeks of last minute losses.

Just a shattering last few mins from Choi and Guardiola hitting the post to Victory then scoring the winner. Good performance for the most part though.

Let's hope Henrique's injury isn't too bad as we are just getting battered with injuries at the moment.

I'm not physio but it looked like a knee hyperextension.

If there's no tearing then 2-4 weeks per Dr. Google.

Could be the whole season if it's serious though.

It was a knee to knee collision and for some reason Henrique's knee gave way and Bozanic got off with nothing. You can see his knee twist and move around, quite a lot of damage could have been done. I expect him to be out for quite some time, probably as long as Cirio, if it is less I will consider it a bonus.
My understanding is doing ligaments can vary quite considerably as far as the level of pain, Henrique unfortunately seemed to have done it in a very painful way.

All four goals in the last two weeks have seen Ben Garrucio missing from his left back position or beaten to the ball.
In this game he was nowhere to be seen as Rojas broke down the right for Victories first goal and the second goal saw Pasquali free on the right with Garrucio chasing from a long way back.
I think he is clearly an A-league quality player and he is great on the ball but I am starting to think he belongs on the wing not full back as he goes missing from LB to many times. It will be good to get Marrone back sooner than later so we can have two specialist fullbacks in the team.

Zappers on foxsports last night said club officials suspect its his medial ligament.

Fack. That will be months.

Good thing we have plenty of options on the wing. Chance for the fringe to step up. They seem more than capable.

I have to say I was really impressed with Danny Choi when he came on. Super composed on the ball especially for a debut and in such a crucial match.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Maka is on the bench next week for either mells or O'Doherty. He has been struggling a bit in our set up I think.
