This 12 months would have to be the biggest personnel turnover the club has had?

Im all for trimming the fat but geez there better be some Ins to go with all these Outs or we will be in breach of the salary cap minimum!

It's funny how basically all the players that got brought in at the end of the offseason are gone apart from mileusnic. I guess it goes to show that they were really stop gap solutions instead of proper signings.

6 months ago we were linked to a Senegalese player:

Probably him eh?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_C ... ootballer)
Not a very prolific goal scorer and is only a little taller than Cirio and Henrique. If we played these three as the front three it would be tiny. Still being a prolific goal scorer has not necessarily been a needed qualification for scoring goals in the A-league. He also has not played very many games at all in his career although the last couple of seasons he has played a lot more.
No games this season is a concern but a full season last one fills me with hope if he does sign

The wikipedia page has not been updated, he has played this season. 19 league games and 3 Copa del Rey games for only on goal. Mostly off the bench or starting at RW.

I saw another tweet on twitter linking us to this guy. Spent a lot of time in Spain, he may be the mystery Sengalese striker.

Either that or someone heard the words Babacar and Sengalese at the AUFC offices and thats the two names that people could find- Babacar Gueye and Baba(car) Diawara

Gueye is off contract, it'd seem.

On parle de l'arrivée du franco-sénégalais, Babacar Gueye (FC Metz, Sedan) à Adélaïde United. #ALeague

This bloke seems pretty fucking solid tbh
(so it's probably not him)

So Henrique gone too?

We needed to add 2 to our squad before 3 players left.

Need to sign 5 in 2 days. Just isn't going to happen.

Will we even break even?

Henrique out and someone new in is a win IMO, he’s a great sub but nothing more.

Could the European based AM with an Asian passport be Shaun Maloney???? Would be too good to be true.

Salmondinho out makes me sad.
His is exactly the sort of attitude we need to keep. Always positive, always trying. Good luck in the future Henrique!

Am I right in saying our window doesn't close until the 14th?

I think you're correct.

A league teams don't pay transfer fees normally so does the window even matter for incoming players? It seems that free agenta can be signed anytime.
