Henrique was signed on the promise of being a starter.
That's a concerning thing to hear.

Good luck signing Víctor Vázquez,

Betis, Espanyol and Alaves all after him, it seemed too good to be true,

Yeah I don't know if Vazquez has an Asian passport so that may be a bust.

If we are looking to sign players before the window closes then they must be attached to clubs at the moment.

Whoever we sign heres hoping they are ambitious signings with the intent on competing with competing with the big 2 clubs in the league

Its also going to be interesting as to what kind of striker we sign as this will drastically change the way we play.

Do we sign someone like bruce/guardiola or do we look at a more dynamic front 3rd with a quick mobile striker more like modern day barca than barca with zlatan.

I think amor prefers a more dynamic front third which we saw in the first half of last season with very little success probably due to bruce not being suited to that style.

6 months ago we were linked to a Senegalese player:
http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a- ... 472c7c29fe

Probably him eh?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_C ... ootballer)
Not a very prolific goal scorer and is only a little taller than Cirio and Henrique. If we played these three as the front three it would be tiny. Still being a prolific goal scorer has not necessarily been a needed qualification for scoring goals in the A-league. He also has not played very many games at all in his career although the last couple of seasons he has played a lot more.

Reckon we need a bigger body to lead the line than another sub 5ft 10 player......

That depends on if he's coming here to lead the line. If he's adding to the current forward line the club has and is willing to rotate with the wingers he could be useful. I think this tactic is what Amor wants to persevere with.

I wonder if this is part of the reason Guardiola left? Amor may have wanted him to spend time on the wing on a regular basis but he wasn't willing to.

Haha this is getting ridiculous. Here's hoping the players are lining up to come into the squad now.

Henrique leaving is not a bad thing provided a couple of replacements are lined up, he has had a few brilliant games but otherwise has not been great in most of the games. I think we are better off playing Cirio and Miluesnic on the wings and Henrique is not going to do much as a striker.

Still we do need a couple of players.

Found a tweet in French suggesting that Senegalese striker we are signing is Babacar Gueye.

https://twitter.com/4ntoineB/status/825977473674391553

Not sure it is a great signing, he has played the last few season in CHina League One (the 2nd division), scored plenty of goals but against what quality opponent.

Another tweet claiming we are trying to re-sign Lustica, hopefully they were joking because it worked out so well last time
