Have also seen 3k estimated. There were specially chartered flights I think.

Either way it will be massive and as usual this has not got anywhere near the publicity it deserves. Big away support, continental football, Chinese New Year, Serg van Dijk .. all the planets are aligning

Spread the good word brothers and sisters
3k away fans now quoted by the recent club email.

I don't reckon sales have been that strong for us so could be a very even crowd. We really need the support so hopefully we get it.

Anyone have a recent PAX?

I thiught we only had to allow something like 10 percent of seating to away fans ?

I think the key for us is to be patient and keep the ball. We need to move them around the pitch as they are out of season and playing in the heat.

If we are level after 60 minutes id back us to take control of the game but we HAVE to out our chances away!

Yeah, but if tickets aren't selling, they can open up more bays for the away supporters if there is a demand.

So the team will be

Galekovic
Marrone - McGowan - Elsey - Elrich
Isaias
Mauk - Carrusca
Goodwin - Djite - Cirio
van Dijk to come on in the 80th and score a hattrick.
Surely SvD will start? We can't have signed him for (potentially) only one game to have him sit on the bench..
As good as he is (or was?), I'd be disappointed if Van Dijk was considered the sort of player to walk straight into a starting XI for a one-off game on name recognition only.

I'm hoping to find a stream for this one, no more Fox and couldn't stretch the budget with a wedding in a couple of weeks!

He wouldn't start purely on name recognition. He has the necessary experience, training and most importantly ACL experience to be successful during the match in less than 24 hours.

Congrats on the wedding. There should be plenty of streams floating around, dont forget we're probably the only country in Asia that doesn't appreciate how big this competition is. Plus there was a stream for Shandong's last qualifier so should be one for this.

If you have a mate who has foxtel but doesn't use it on their phone/tablet/pc ask for their login details so you can watch it via foxtel go.

And there will be a ACL Match Day Jamboree.

Looking forward to this game.

Good luck for it all! I'm sorry I won't be able to attend.

We'll have a moment of silence for independent General's death. :P

I can't go tonight because it's my wedding anniversary. If only Hindmarsh had a Hill of Grace

Amor dismissing notions of fatigue & fixture overload. Good. No excuses.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
