Well for what it's worth this club is making too many stupid decisions for mine. Jordon Pudler to Perth, Dylan Smith a regular scorer in the NYL team, constantly overlooked for a striker that hasn't scored for 19 games, and getting rid of one of our most consistently good players for a bloke that's in his last throes and has spent the entire year not making the final squad or as a bench man,
Seems the club has no desire to try & win the championship - so no more money from me.

I think people are panicking too much. Williams could turn out to be a very good signing.if it even happens. Will have to wait and see.

I'm with you on this, Zanzibar. It all depends on how Williams is used.

For me the issue is the way we have thrown away valuable assets and are seemingly trading down.

-We let ferriera leave for free, easily one if the best wingers the league has seen.

-we sell mabil, this was fair enough but we needed to replace him with someone who can make an impact.

-we sign duganzic.....like seriously ?!

-duganzic is poor and we need to find an aussie winger fast.

- trade malik for williams who is as much as a basket case as babalj and duganzic have been over their careers.

To me, not only has duganzic cost us a wage but he has also cost us osama malik.

To make things worse we will be able to play melbourne heart front 3rd of duganzic babalj williams which was poor three years ago. The league has progressed but we have traded backwards.

Ferriera leaving was due to ffa handling of foreign numbers and mabil was fair enough but yeah, duganzic and babalj are underwhelming signings. It's not quite mourinho level moves of de bruyne and mata.
I guess for once i am taking the wait and see and hope for the best option.

Ferriera was always going to move for free. He wasn't starting and didnt suit our style, and was too good to be a bench player and he knew it. He got offered much better money from central coast and a spot as one of their key players, he was always going to go.

We didn't replace him with dugandzic we got dugandzic 6 months later on a one year contract and gave him a chance to do an elrich but he hasn't worked out. Ce la vie.

Confirmed on this morning's radio program Coast FM that Jordan Pudler is indeed off to Perth Glory.

Always going for free?

I perceived it as he had fallen behind mabil in the first team and flecha wanted game time.

Surely the club knew it was likely to lose mabil in the offseason, the kid only just returned from ajax.

No we didnt replace ferriera with duganzic directly, but in a matter of 6 months we had certainly traded down substantially.

I wouldnt put him in the same bracket as elrich, as we could have covered the elrich experiment if it went bad. Where as we really put all our eggs in one basket with duganzic.

Its just terrible planning from any angle you look at it. IMO the fact that we have some gaping holes in our line up yet are currently one of the form teams in the league says alot about amor and how he is managing the squad.

Credit to him for turning it around

To be fair Ferriera hasn't exactly set the world alight at Central Coast. How many games has he missed now through injury?

He is going to "fight for his place".

(And he must of read what we thought of the swap deal...)

Is this a good thing though? A player who had already decided to leave ?

Could be awkward
