Lady daily for me.
How do you get into the snake pit? I assume that is only for those with tickets in the western stand?

I couldn't give a damn about Harry and the hype but it's good for the game. I'm just so excited to see my team!
Victory on paper are pretty strong, but so are we. It's going to be interesting to see how it goes.
Go United!!!

Managed to record Slory's goal.
Re: "Friendly" v MVFC September 23
Slory's goal was a great piece of play. Good flick-on by Serj and Slory did well to work around the defender and slot it home.
Apart from that tho, MV were all over us. We lacked creativity and couldn't muster any real chances. MV created plenty and drew level on 88" when Golec turned over the ball in opposition half and Hernandez ended up scoring. Archie and Kewell were linking up really well and looked dangerous until Kewell was subbed off at half time.
Vido played 20 minutes and looked good but still carrying an injury.
Spade didn't play, I think we really missed him in midfield.

Re: "Friendly" v MVFC September 23
I definitely feel MV were on top for much of the first half. I think we were on top in the second after MV made a bunch of changes.
After the GCU friendly I walked away wondering where are our exciting players that will break things open? I hope we don't come to miss the runs of Dodd and Leckie and the creativity of Flores. At this stage I see a team of very solid players but not a lot of spark, apart from Slory.
In the first half we lacked creative and any kind of understanding between the players to work and overlap. MV did this much better than us. Kewell had some very nice touches, looked a class above.
The MV goal came to be from a huge error from Golec. Apart from that, I think we had better play in the 2nd half even though everyone was pretty much chilling out by the 72nd minute.
It'll be interesting to see if we gel a bit more in the future.

Re: "Friendly" v MVFC September 23
While our squad looks decent on paper, the loss of Flores, Leckie AND Reid looks to be something we haven't adequately covered.
Balls at the pointy end are too slow, too obvious and lacking any real penetration. Kinda worried about it tbh.
