No, the media's job is to sell their platform so their advertisers get more coverage. It's been a long long time since it was about the news. Even the ABC is more about their talking heads than real news these days.Way off topic but the medias job is to SELL the news and advertise.

Cumberland vs Gawler at home this week. So there is absolutely no chance of overtaking them this week. Cumberland to destroy them. May as well pencil in the win. Unless my tipping curse continues, in which Gawler will do the impossible and prove me wrong

Meanwhile we face Salisbury at home. We've been pretty strong at home. Salisbury have escaped relegation this season, theres not a lot for them to play for. Expecting a win.

Cumberland's bigger test will be the following week when they play Victory away who may still have a mathematical chance of catching us at that point. Still, the automatic promotion is theirs to lose at this stage.Cumberland vs Gawler at home this week. So there is absolutely no chance of overtaking them this week. Cumberland to destroy them. Hopefully you are correct re: Salisbury. They won't be going up or down so may give some of the kids/squaddies some game time. Either way we have everything to play for so should be going at this all guns blazing.
Out of the chasing pack Cove host Hills, who are have nothing to play for, and Olympic are away to Sturt. Sturt still need three points to guarantee safety so won't be rolling over.

Re: AUFC 2015 State League Season
Also in the reserves if the lads get a point from the remaining three matches they will have won the reserve league. Wonderful news especially given the difficulty that squad has had in making up squads which the injury list they had and the hurdles put in their way to get replacements.

I've rather enjoyed following the Youth Team in the State League over the off-season.

As have I. Its great that I can follow my club 12 months of the year now!I've rather enjoyed following the Youth Team in the State League over the off-season.
Its great to see that a element of the Red Army has got behind the side as well.
I think in the future this will be a huge boost to the support of the club if we start seeing young kids come thru the local side then start playing in the bright lights of the HAL.
As we've seen with Mabil we get to see this from an even younger age.

If the youth end up playing up in our Playford training facility next season, then I'll try to rock up to more games.

Oh yay. All the knuckle heads on FN have woken up to the fact that it's a good chance AU will be promoted this season. What a joyous NPL off season this promises to be! ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

If we do, we do, and if we don't we only have ourselves to blame and will have to give it another crack next year. At this rate I can see us finishing 2nd with an NPL play-off with Raiders/Modbury which will could see some AUFC haters on the edge of a melt-down.Oh yay. Yeah it will be a big jump in quality. Hopefully in preparation the lads can play the AU seniors a bit more.If we do, we do, and if we don't we only have ourselves to blame and will have to give it another crack next year. They'll just throw out the excuse that our boys train more than they do, special treatment etc etc
If we manage to beat Raiders/Modbury, their tears will taste good ahaha
