To draw it from there against 10 is very poor.

Poor structure and discipline in general today. very disappointing.

Gotta say. there's been enough cameos from Kasumovic to start forming conclusions and I don't think he's ever got above "Actively terrible" in his output

That last goal we conceded was such poor defending.

When is Ansell going to get a game? We just look like we could concede at any moment.

Carl is rightfully apoplectic on the sideline.

First 4-4 in the history of the A-League.

No Kitto next week to Victory.

At least it's not a loss.

Some horrendous defending by both teams today but that last wsw goal was utterly pathetic.

Our CB pairings do not breed any confidence and geez we really did not replace Jako.

Only 2 other teams have conceded more than us.
Only 2 have scored more than us.

Makes for some entertaining games but I wouldn't mind a solid defensive display once in a while!

Do we even have a defensive coach?

Forwards - check
Goalkeepers - check
Midfield - check
Defence...?

At 4-3 we really should have just killed the game. We had too many players still trying to play. Just keep the ball when you can and kick it out when you can’t. Stop-start.
D’Arrigo might have been fouled, but you’re out of position, 1v2 in our back corner, just knock the ball out of the stadium.

Weird, weird game. Looked quite creative around the box, Isaias was back to form, Cavallo, Halloran & Clough all dangerous (anyone know about the Cavallo injury? Hope nothing too bad).
Goodwin not at his most threatening best, but his interplay with Kitto as usual was terrific. I reckon Kitto is in for a shout as our player of the season (Javi, Goodwin, Gauci the others in the mix).

That last WSW goal was just shit (from our perspective). Partly game management, of course, but also at an individual level. 4 Adelaide players were beaten. the Wanderers bloke just sliced straight through between Goodwin & d'Arrigo, Warland couldn't get the block in time, and Gauci should have done better on the dive. Heat and fatigue of course played a big part but that just speaks to the defensive mentality of a team that had already shipped 3 goals at that point.

Report in the paper that Cavallo might have done his achilles and be looking at 12 months out.

Tough on the lad if true. He was just starting to show a return to his form from a season or two ago.
