Is it really that bad if they appoint someone local?

Re: Who should replace Amor?
Well it would be a nice change to see AU poach someone wanted at another A-League clubI'd like that too. But honestly is that at all likely?I'd be happy to the Aloisi brothers in charge, play a decent brand and we know Ross has the passion!
I think they have a good thing going at Brisbane. Unless they have more staff payment issues I can't see them leaving anytime soon.
Also one thing I've always loved about AUFC is that they rarely seek out players and staff from other HAL clubs. They either develop their own locals or find people who fit their bill abroad.
Ross on his own would have to be a chance but all I know is that the Aloisi's don't have a contract for next season at this point and that is who i'd be going for. Ross always bled red for the club and fans and would definitely get some support.
Otherwise Ramon Tribulietx of Auckland City, importantly is Spanish and also Barcelona born. So I'd say he'd have to be the frontrunner.
But I also think Damian Mori is worthy of a chance.

I'd value experience and the right philosophy/attitude over whether the person is a local or not.Is it really that bad if they appoint someone local?

I really don't want to see all the hard work in implementing the Catalan connection falling apart. Pau is the guy who's been around since the beginning with Gombau (& Isaiais and Cirio) and I would really like to see if he has what it takes as a head coach. He seems a quiet guy but less so than Amor, he's been trained in 'the system', and I think he could be a very good communicator.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Very true. I'd be happy for Pau to stay. I thought he was leaving the club soon though?I really don't want to see all the hard work in implementing the Catalan connection falling apart. Maybe I just thought that was the case. If he wants to stay, he's high on my list.

No one in particular just hiring a local after a comprehensive search isn't a bad thing.Did you have someone in mind?Agreed but that person may be under our noses. Rudan? I wouldn't be thrilled with Valkanis back right now, but I also don't think he'd come tbh. He's making his way within the CFG and all power to him - I'd see where that took me if I were in his shoes.

Re: Who should replace Amor?
Dis someone mention Mori and Melta?
Are they a double act?
It would be very interesting to see them at AU but I think the AC connection would be too strong.
