Good point.I think it will be a little different tactically because it has a potential to go to extra time and penalties.

Re: Preview: Hindmarsh Semi-Final Versus City
From Val's article:Channel 9 showed him on a bench with his head in his hands for a brief moment... the club says he will be fine thoughYeah I can confirm bruce did not take part in the last 30 minutes that I was there for. Didn't see him at all so guess he was in the change rooms? There was a small forwards against defenders movement training that Pablo was the centre man for whilst I was there but like I said was there for the last 30 only.
Carrusca also claimed striker Bruce Djite would be ready to start on Friday after the striker skipped Tuesday’s main session at Elizabeth.
Djite missed last week’s entire main group training schedule but the club is not saying why.
“He’s OK and he’s doing what the doctors say,’’ Carrusca said.
“He had a little bit of a rest (Tuesday) after he had a strong training on Monday.
“I’m not sure what he has but the most important thing is he’ll be ready for the game.”

Re: Preview: Hindmarsh Semi-Final Versus City
What do ppl think? Can we afford to rest him to save him for a grand final we haven't even qualified for or do we play him and risk not having him for the GF should we win?
I'm not too confident but that's just the nerves of the finals I think.

You can resell the ticket up to 10% above the price of the ticket, anything above that is scalping. I'm pretty sure the most that a single ticket was going for was around $60, that is waaaay above 10%.Crazy scalpers on gumtree. $150 for a single western grandstand ticket. I thought selling tickets for more than cost is against the law?

Haven't seen Pablo start up front in ages.

Shooting scalpers on sight might discourage them.Scalping happens world wide, there isnt a lot you can do about it.

The best attack against the best defence and as the cliché goes, attacks win matches, but defences win championships, so we should win.

Reserved seats were selling for ~$55 + booking fees. You can resell the ticket up to 10% above the price of the ticket, anything above that is scalping. $60 is reasonable.

Re: Preview: Hindmarsh Semi-Final Versus City
Looking through the history books (AKA wiki) over the last 10 (completed) seasons, i found some interesting facts.
there are only two occasions since the aleagues inception that a top two team hasnt reached the grandfinal.
2005/06 - United finished top, the grand final was played between Central coast (finished 3rd) and Sydney, sydney winning.
2011/12 - Central coast finished top, the grand final was played between Brisbane and Perth (finished 3rd), Brisbane winning.
-No team outside the top 3 has ever played in a grandfinal, -No team outside the top two has ever won the aleague.

Djite should be fine. I just can't see him not playing. He wants to be in the mix. He'll find a way.

Just tried my luck again on ticketek, just for the hell of it and managed to score myself another ticket at GA prices. Get on there quick if you still need 1. Looks like there is another limited release
