The prospect of City makes me more nervous than Perth.

Agree. City have the X-factor in Mooy and Fornoroli.

Although if the MRP uphold the Novillo ban, that is a big win for us.

I think that's a big if. FFA and the MRP love to play the role of Director in the league and manipulate things so I will not be surprised if the throat grabbing, player kicking, domestic abuser gets to play.

AU have shown that City are mentally weak. I hope they can exploit that again.

Bring on City! Nervous and excited all at once, of course. Novillo should surely continue his suspension, but like supsup said, I won't be shocked if they do a Berisha and it gets discontinued.

I'm especially interested in how it'll shape up tactically. City played us just over a week ago and we showed where they are weak, so let's see if they've corrected that. JVS is a bit of a dumb coach so I wouldn't back any fix he makes to be an effective one. I even thought that we could have beaten them tonight if in Perth's place (they would have done better if Diego Castro was a hundred percent fit). In 180 minutes of play they've scored one goal against us, which was a total cracker and not a defensive error, while we've scored two, both of them being set pieces. So in this context if we can successfully shut them down - press Malik and leave no room for Mooy or Fornaroli - then we're halfway there. The rest is a battle of who is stronger defensively, and I think home ground advantage will get us over the line here.

It will be one hell of a game. In many ways we will be cutting and pasting our comments from the recent couple of City game previews :)

Our only 2 losses at Hindmarsh this season came against City.

City, we will beat them.
Fornaroli is a great, so is Mooy but we controlled them last time and we will do it again. Malik is good but I don't think Carceres is of the same sort of quality. Isaias, Mauk and Carrusca are at least as good as a trio.

Was going to make a joke about his age but he's only 28! Bloody hell, he looks 40.

What fans? They got 11k last night in an elimination final, a lot of tickets supposedly given away as well.
If Perth had won I would expect they'd bring more supporters across than Mel C will.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

They usually bring a decent amount over.
