i do find it a little odd as well, especially as we have a competition fixture with them only a few weeks later. that'll be a cracker of a match tho, as both sides management will have new tactics up their sleeves learnt and adapted from this 'friendly'.

Re: "Friendly" v MVFC September 23
I'll be pissed if this is the case as I've already shelled out for my tickets.Se said "Go into the head office and give them your AU number. Yours is 'X'." So unless she was mistaken, season ticket holders could get them as well. Has anyone tried this yet?
Curious thing is though the priority period for MV tickets was listed as being for "Members and Season tickets holders". Why would "members" need a priority period if they can get free tickets ?
Sounds like another Club-Ticketek breakdown in communication.

I rang the dedicated AU number which I think is based in Adelaide at the club store."EdDog" wrote: Se said "Go into the head office and give them your AU number. Yours is 'X'." So unless she was mistaken, season ticket holders could get them as well. Has anyone tried this yet?

In regards to the tickets, only 'Red' seating area is free for AU members. The priority period is for members or season ticket holders who want to purchase additional or different seats (as in 'gold' in the western grandstand).
We still haven't had anyone confirm that, as a season ticket holder, they were able to get the free 'red' tickets, it's only what I've been told.

My advice is goto the club directly or phone them, dont come on the fan forums looking for answers because lets be honest most people talk crap or are not able to decipher simple instructions.

"Harry will play up in Adelaide. Don't know how much game time it will be, but we're thinking 20-25 minutes, half-an-hour. But we'll see how it goes.
“He wants to play and I'm happy for him to play. He was phenomenal today."

Guess this means he'll come on around the 60" mark. Should be enough for those who will no doubt turn up solely to see him. Hopefully they like what they see and come back for more. I'm bringing a few peeps who haven't been before. Should be a good advert for the game and the Reds.

Bit over 2k a few days agohave we any idea how many tickets have sold yet
They said we were expecting a 14k crowd, but i think thats ambitious for a friendly.
If we make 8k i think that would be pretty decent, either way the game will be a great little money spinner for the club that they did not budget for

I dont think it will be a money spinner for the club.
With the stadium open it means full cost will be needed to be payed. But entry cost is less so the 8k attendance usually reqd to break even will be higher and i cant see to many ppl coming just yet. Just my guess thou.

For what it's worth I got my tix last Monday, red area, pax 1875 (seat-1085)
Re: "Friendly" v MVFC September 23
Is this an AU game or is this organised by MV? ( there is nowhere available in Melbourne as the storm are playing at AAMI park) or is the by Bernie on behalf of Team Kewell and as an after thought, MV? and is this one extra those promotional things for Team Kewell with them getting the revenue?
I noted in the press this morning that he has'nt yet signed the FFA Standard Player Contract and as such can't play till he does.
Bernie trying to get other sponsors signed up for Team Kewell before he does.
Such as the deal with Ford ( when the League is sponsored by Hyundai)

Not sure why people think this will sell out.
It is a pre season friendly.
If you are a member you get a free ticket.
If you are a season ticket holder you don't.
I went to the club shop in person. It's not hard.
