Re: Player shirts - where's the Coopers gone?
Recently went through all this trying to get a shirt before the Adelaide Oval Tards match. I called the club and they said they weren't getting any new shirts in as Reebok weren't making any more, they said best thing to do was find a store that was stocking unmarked shirts and they could put the sponsors on for a small charge. I contacted Bailetti Sports (on the clubs advice) to try and track down a plain shirt, they had some left and got it marked up for me before I headed over for the match. Only thing was I had to pay for it in full over the phone or they couldn't hold it for longer than a few days.

Article in the advertiser today announcing errea as our new kit sponsor. Apparently the only club in the aleague to have errea. I'm on my phone so no pics, sorry.

And Coopers is still there!
This sounds so awesome and great news for the club financially! The deal the FFA struck with Reebok got clubs 5% of shirts sales this deal will get AU 50%! Thats about $70 per shirt!
Greg Griffin said the money made will be invested back into the clubs youth.
Oh happy day!

Fantastic news! Is it just me or do you get the feeling that we are becoming the best run club in the league?
Love this...
very optimistic!
Lets hope other clubs are watching!

It seems like we are starting to takes the steps towards pulling ourselves away from the "one mold fits all plastic a-league franchise" and forming our own identity as a club.Adelaide chairman Greg Griffin has revealed the club was in the process of setting up an online portal where supporters can order their kits.
"We're in the middle of gaining approval from the FFA to set up an e-commerce website for the sale of our new kits," Griffin said.

I'm happy woth Errea too. Sure nike or Adidas would have been better but Errea is a football brand and i think whats good enough for Parma is good enough for us!
It sounds like we're not far away from being able to order them!

I was just thinking we're the first club to announce a new sponsor. I really think this is a reflection on how well run the club is at the moment. Well in AU!

Well on the bright side its better than having a dodgy brand like Fi-Ta, which GCU will get or ISC, like Hearts will get.
Anyone know what the Errea supporter wear would be like?
And maybe this contract only lasts about 2 seasons.

I'll buy one if it doesn't look awful. Bit easier to justify the cost if more than $5 of it is going to the club.
