scheisse, scheisse.
that was it.
Pain on the face of Flores.
Pain etched on Fyfe's face.
Oh that hurts.
But we have to learn from this game and go on.
We have to learn to "kill" teams off!.

it is what happens when you take a lead at 1-0 and then do nothing at all. Really really disappointed with all our Midfielders today, Dood, Pants, Reid especially , did not create or offer much at all and whole team did not work hard enough.
We have to take advantage when Gold coast lose like on Wednesday, and yet again we did not. Pissed off

Im sorry guys, we are still no championship team, and ill call it now. we wont win nothing this year. Ill stay positive, but that was state league fear shown by us in the last 10 minutes, who plays like that at home when uve got quality on the park.

Need these new players I think. Heart had zero confidence and yet we did not go for the throat when we had the chance. Victory would have won that 4-0 in the second half and yet we lost against a team that scored 2 goals in 7 games. We have a knack of playing shit teams back into form e.g Newcastle and now the Heart. Not the signs of a championship team....

Where the hell did this performance come from?
After all our dominance at home this season...unbelieveable.

We lack the killer instinct to finish teams off. Dissapointing but we now have to bounce back. IMO ramsy is not up to a league yet. Has a lot of potential but still needs to grow in skill level and decision making. But good to have his speed coming on for 15 or 20 mins...

Frankly that result was what we deserved, Melbourne Heart dominated that game and they'd have been gutted to play that well and lose. We struggled to retain and gain possession, if you can't control the ball you can't win the game.
We only went 1-0 up through a moment of brilliance between Dodd & van Dijk, apart from that we hardly offered anything going forward and when we did we faffed about with the ball again. Too many times we look for that extra touch rather than taking the shot.
Losing Mullen really hurt us because Hughes having to move to centre back allowed Hearts to boss the midfield. As I wrote in my column this week, Hughes has become indispensible for us in the midfield. He is the water carrier that does the hard work to win the ball and break up the play that allows Reid and Flores to come into the game.
Again I have to question our tactics at corners, again no man on the back post and again a goal is scored there. Come on Rini, that's basic stuff, it's obviously not working for us if we keep copping goals in that fashion!
Costly result in terms of trying to keep touch with Brisbane, we really were not at the races tonight and can't complain, Heart's goal was always coming, it was just a matter of time. Major improvement is needed in these sorts of games if we're serious about challenging for the title.
