Im not interested in Garcia, sure he played some socceroos games and played in the EPL, but everything Ive seen of him hasnt been that special. Vido had more effect in the socceroos than Garcia! Anyway, lets wait and see. Burns would definitely be the preference!

You'd be crazy not to take Garcia, he was in great form for Hull in the latter part of last season, a lot of their fans were disappointed he wasn't offered a new deal.
That said, fairly sure he signed with a Chinese team.

Re: Mystery Socceroo to Adelaide
Grella is clubless.. but crocked. Culina was one of my favourite Socceroos, absolute quality player, but hasn't played in yonks and who knows whether his knee's about to collapse again... Bresc would be fantastic, Garcia would also be brilliant and would fill our need for another wide player .. there are a few that could fit the bill.
Or it could be that Ross Aloisi or Carl Veart have decided to pull the boots on again...

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: Mystery Socceroo to Adelaide
Troisi? Was supposed to be signing for Juve and going out on loan but perhaps deal has fallen through?
Re: Mystery Socceroo to Adelaide
If it's an assistant coach I'll be bloody pissed at Val for trolling us.
Doubtful in Bresc as much as I'd love that.
Would be really worried if it's Culina, we already have a boss midfield and he is a walking bomb.
Burns would be fantastic. In fact most Socceroos would be pretty good, unless they're coming out of retirement though lol.

James Holland?
Re: Mystery Socceroo to Adelaide
Troisi is about to sign a deal with Juventus, where he will then be loaned out to Atalanta.
It's got to be a RM. Kossie loves the 4-2-3-1 formation and we are lacking a good right winger. Perhaps could be Richard Garcia, however he announced the other week that it was only a matter of days before he would sign with a Chinese club (wonder if that has fallen through with this delay). But you would have to put your money on it being Nathan Burns. Has really struggled since moving away from Adelaide, and has really struggled in Korea for one reason or another. Is a good player, however he has not recognised this since his move away.
Another possibility could be Jade North, if Kosmina does not want to opt for Bowles or Watson at RB.
Lucas Neill? Has stated his ambition to perhaps one day to return to the A-League. Is a free agent. Doubt it very much.
Maybe Vince Grella.

Knowing Val it will be some bloke who represented the Socceroos once in 1981. And he has been hired to paint the lines at Hindmarsh and keep the ice cubes cold.

Re: Mystery Socceroo to Adelaide
Yeah Burns has been in Adelaide for a while now. Or at least he was in Adelaide. I recall Garcia saying on twitter he would reveal his next move soon and that was a while ago. I hear there is a big push for him to go to Perth. Personally if AU could get Culina fit it would be amazing. IMO he was 80% of the reason GCU were so successful. But I hope they don't blow a load of cash on finding out if he can get back to fitness.
Time to Djbate!
