Not surprised, hopefully the club were smarter about the contract terms than they were about the contract length!

Very hard to have an opinion on this as it will be a matter of contract details, which are confidential.
It is good to hear that they are opting for mediation before litigation.

Re: Rini Coolen takes Adelaide United to court.
FORMER Adelaide United coach Rini Coolen has asked a court to speed up his lawsuit because he has no income and is at risk of being deported to Holland.
This is not good.
( Of course the club lawyer called "Objection M'Lud'"... )

a speedy process might keep it from reaching the courts and get it settled behind closed doors. could be a blessing for both parties.

I don't think so. That would mean AU would have to pay him out. Something I'm sure they wouldn't want to do and can't afford to do.a speedy process might keep it from reaching the courts and get it settled behind closed doors. could be a blessing for both parties.

My bet is they drag this out and he gets deported. Pretty rough for him tbh, apparently his family settled well here and they all love the place.

True it is sad but in football to be the best often means you have to be ruthless. He wasn't getting the results so he had to go.My bet is they drag this out and he gets deported. Pretty rough for him tbh, apparently his family settled well here and they all love the place.

Don't think so - he's only suing for damages, not unfair dismissal.I don't think so. That would mean AU would have to pay him out. Flores is gone he felt our biggest rivals suited him better , case closed . No point playing the blame game
