I hear it mainly due to the cost of openning the gates to Hindmarsh. It wouldn't be cost effective to open the gates have security, catering and ticket handlers on staff for a few hundred people.Anyone know why you can watch AUFC training at Hindmarsh (gates are open, just walk in) but not friendlies?
But I'm not entirely sure why they don't play the matches at the local club's home ground which i thought was a great exercise last season!
I did hear it was due to the local clubs poor pitches but i find that hard to believe.
