Grella (if his wage demands aren't too high) to replace Reid, if he leaves.
If the rumours are true, he's off to Melbourne Heart.

I'm not so sure about Grella i can see him turning into a Tiatto or a Jacob Burns as he gets older and slower.

yep, Grella is too agressive in his tackles for me. seen him go in too hard too many times for my likes to see him in Red.

I don't think our club really needs a superstar. We're not a Sydney FC who rely on a big name to get people to care about coming to matches. I think I'd rather see us have a Flores as our star and leave the 35 year old big names to other clubs.

Having said that Harry Kewell would do massive things off-field for any club in this country.

I think it's a fair enough view.

Yes yes agree with the above,

I would think coolen does to as players like usucar and estrada have been looked at. Players who are still young and are yet to hit their potential. Imo its much more rewarding watching usucar who is 21 leckie 19 play and develope as opposed to watching fowler limp off the ptich

I'd reckon Lothar Matthaus would still run rings around many of todays players.

Great player but A-grade jerk. Same with Stefan Effenberg.

41 and retired.. no thanks.

If we want to bring a dutch player out of retirement, it should be Roy Makaay - 35 years old, last played in 2010 and with a scoring record of nearly a goal every 2nd game in 526 club appearances!

The more i think about the less i want an old 'superstar' playing for us. Its so Sydney i think our supporters are smarter then that. We don't need glizz and glamour we want great football!

Give me a Marcos Flores over any of these old blokes any day of the week!
