He certainly looked the goods tonight. Right from the start he came out of the box early to cut out a potential Jets run on goal.

Marrone had a busy night as well.

McGree gradually becoming my favourite player. Kid's a gem.

Firstly: our best game of the season. Better than the Nix game and the City game. I was really impressed by the fight we showed, especially in defense.

Secondly: How good is Mcgree. For a guy who has only just turned 18 he is amazingly calm and resilient especially when being thrown into a new position like he was today. He has a very bright future, best thing to come out of Gawler in a long time.

Third: Kim really impressed me. He was a breath of fresh air. His work rate and movement through the middle of the park really opened up that second half for us and allowed Chelo the chance to play his creative game. That little interplay in the northeast corner with Chelo and Cirio got me all giddy.

I also eat my words with Hall for the week. He looked very calm and collected today, well done son.

Kim looks a player and hopefully so is Baba. Find another winger to swap wings with 'hold the ball too long' Cirio and that's a good team. Even Elrich got better tonight. Marrone was flawless and, as usual, undercelebrated
