While MV are expanding to Asia and the U.S, the board are signing rejects like Dugandzic and La Rocca.
La Rocca has been a very good defender, when he's not using his damn hardest to get sent off, suspended for elbowing people or injured.

Dugandzic on the other hand...
we da best

No reason we can't make finals. A win on the weekend and we are up to 7th.

Newy, CCM & Perth are utter trash football teams so if we finish below them we are dire.

Then we just need to hope Welly also drop off as they usually do and then we can scrape 6th. Anything higher is out of the question.

If witnessing an absolute football miracle after experiencing the pain of an absolute football debacle means that I was wrong I'm very happy to be wrong. Eight games in we were crap. End of season we're Premiers. I didn't see that at all.

Fire up the hotplates, crack the eggs, make the omelettes. I am happy to put eggs into my face. And I'll have some humble pie to go with it.

And we'll raise a glass of something sparkling to our friend Billy Love.

Well said Jessesdad!
I know a few people who thought that our Catalan experiment would end up going the same way as Rini Coolen's reign, and that AU were heading down a path of tikitaka 'anti-football' completely unsuitable for the A-League. But so far everything has happened almost exactly the way Gombau promised from the start. The system is in place, the philosophy .. for this I am so satisfied :D
I hope that when Amor goes, as he eventually will, his replacement (whoever that may be) continues to build upon what has come before.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

I always felt that amor was over qualified for this job and it was best to keep him.

i mentioned from the very first day we signed amor that i was worried results would not go his way as our signings were not exactly earth shattering and the feeling was that the club would turn him into a scapegoat if we have a poor run.

I think i even said it may be a good idea for amor to walk before the club drags his good name through the mud. But credit to amor and the club for what happened next.

This season has been just as crazy as leicester in the epl imo.

If Amor goes...

...then he wouldn't of just won A-League coach of the year.
