If Goodwin goes then it opens the door for Kamau to be the starting RW. I doubt that will happen at City. So for both his sake and the club's I hope he stays.

Just sent Val a cheeky Tweet.
"Can't see why or how Adelaide United, Melbourne City or Bruce Kamau would benefit from such a deal."

Val's getting soft. I got blocked for telling him one of his articles was a beat up, (although not before he correctly told me where I worked at that point, which was both scary and lame) then for some reason I was unblocked, then I got blocked again for providing evidence to highlight that another of his articles was wrong.Just sent Val a cheeky Tweet.

Re: Who's signed for next season
The only reasons I could see Kamau wanting to go is he agreed to go before knowing Goodwin could be leaving so thought he was still going to be behind Cirio and Goodwin, he is so annoyed at lack of opportunity he just wants to get out of the club even if it does not mean more game time or he is great friends with Osama Malik.

Re: Who's signed for next season
I agree players like chelo are now easy to replace.I do feel like this year is the last year of our "championship window" before we'll need to rebuild. Losing the top end players like Carrusca are much easier to replace IMO than those local boys that have been performing on much more modest wages.
The league has come a long way where players are willing to come here and clubs have the money and overseas contacts.
Making shrewd signings at the other end is what will probably win championships.
Im not concerned about next season though as the aleague is unpredictable and all clubs will be facing similar issues.very few of us had much hope for this season and we afighting for the prem

Losing players means the new players take a while to fit in and produce their best. Carrusca would not be the worst loss, losing Isaias would be worse. However losing McGowan and Goodwin could be even worse than that as there is a smaller pool of good Australians who can replace any good Australians who leave the club.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Haven't read the Goodwin article. Judging by the preview of it I saw on twitter. "Goodwin on verge of signing" then first line is "Rotterdam want to take a closer look" sounds just Luca Toni "wanting" to sign for AU.
Yawn.
Yawn.

Re: Who's signed for next season
yeah thats what i said to , if we could possably keep the same team for a couple of seasons , then we will not always be waiting for them to find there feet only to find when they do there leavingLosing players means the new players take a while to fit in and produce their best. Carrusca would not be the worst loss, losing Isaias would be worse. Re: Who's signed for next season
So if we lose McGowan, Goodwin and Kamau, don't re-sign Pablo and Dugandzic, and Babalj goes back to his club there is a big hole to fill.
We would need another CB, a LB, a LW, 2 RW and striker.
Maybe Ochieng covers one of those, Tongyik could be signed as a CB but not much depth there. Who else in the NPL side could step up?

Your saying if we lose 6 players it leaves a big hole?So if we lose McGowan, Goodwin and Kamau, don't re-sign Pablo and Dugandzic, and Babalj goes back to his club there is a big hole to fill.
