I'm a inaugral member and the " You're shit, ha " for opposition keeper's goal kicks is truly cringe worthy. I just want to curl up in a ball whenever I hear it.

Because people want to talk about us? Which they're well within their rights to do.If RA rarely comment or visit this forum why does this thread exist?
We may not visit often, but we try to keep abreast of all things AU where possible, both for feedback on ourselves as a group, and wider commentary about the team as a whole.

Re: (Un)Official Red Army discussion thread
You shoulda seen the smile on Glenn's (capo) face at the end. He (and us) have wanted that opportunity from the crowd to interact like that for AGES. It's been fantastic to see as the boys have laid it out all on the park of late. It's something we hope to build on week by week and to keep this run going.Red Army were great yesterday, capo went up into the northern stand to get people going and it worked, well done.
Incidentally, the "Sha la la, AUFC" chant seems to have taken off amongst the general crowd. Walking back to my car at AEC and there was a family in the lift with me, with the little ones singing it as they left.

Basically it's a rejigged version of the SvD chant that got trotted out against Shandong...
We've got Kamau,
Brucey Kamau.
I just don't think you understand.
He scores them with his left,
He scores them with his right.
We've got Brucey Kamau

Re: (Un)Official Red Army discussion thread
Should chuck in as many current chant lyrics as we can think of in the OP.
Adelaide I love you
Capo: Adelaide I love you
Everyone: I LOVE YOU!
C: And I'll follow you everywhere
E: EVERYWHERE!
C: Adelaide you are my life
E: YOU ARE MY LIFE!
C: My breath and I'd die for you
E: I'D DIE FOR YOU!
Adelaide ole ole etc
We are the army
We are the army,
The Red Army,
And we are mental and we are mad,
We are the loyalest football supporters
That Australia's ever had
Eugene Galekovic

I actually prefer the original words from the Johan Cabaye version at Newcastle - "Don't sell Cabaye"Basically it's a rejigged version of the SvD chant that got trotted out against Shandong...

But I suppose threatening to riot wouldn't really be in keeping with the good behavior stance we're all supposed to exhibiting at the moment
