I'm a inaugral member and the " You're shit, ha " for opposition keeper's goal kicks is truly cringe worthy. I just want to curl up in a ball whenever I hear it.

If RA rarely comment or visit this forum why does this thread exist?

Because people want to talk about us? Which they're well within their rights to do.

We may not visit often, but we try to keep abreast of all things AU where possible, both for feedback on ourselves as a group, and wider commentary about the team as a whole.

Red Army were great yesterday, capo went up into the northern stand to get people going and it worked, well done.
You shoulda seen the smile on Glenn's (capo) face at the end. He (and us) have wanted that opportunity from the crowd to interact like that for AGES. It's been fantastic to see as the boys have laid it out all on the park of late. It's something we hope to build on week by week and to keep this run going.

Incidentally, the "Sha la la, AUFC" chant seems to have taken off amongst the general crowd. Walking back to my car at AEC and there was a family in the lift with me, with the little ones singing it as they left.

Basically it's a rejigged version of the SvD chant that got trotted out against Shandong...

We've got Kamau,
Brucey Kamau.
I just don't think you understand.
He scores them with his left,
He scores them with his right.
We've got Brucey Kamau

Should chuck in as many current chant lyrics as we can think of in the OP.

Adelaide I love you
Capo: Adelaide I love you
Everyone: I LOVE YOU!
C: And I'll follow you everywhere
E: EVERYWHERE!
C: Adelaide you are my life
E: YOU ARE MY LIFE!
C: My breath and I'd die for you
E: I'D DIE FOR YOU!
Adelaide ole ole etc

We are the army
We are the army,
The Red Army,
And we are mental and we are mad,
We are the loyalest football supporters
That Australia's ever had

Eugene Galekovic
He came across from Victory Eugene, Eugene
United are the team for me Eugene, Eugene
He is United through and through
He hates the tards like me and you
Eugene Galekovic United's number one

Adelaide born and bred
We're Adelaide born *clap clap*
We're Adelaide bred *clap clap*
We're United and we're off our heads
Where Adelaide is
That's where we'll be
Because United are the team for me
Adelaide ole Adelaide ole etc

SA was born free
We're not full of convicts
SA was born free
We all follow United
Fuck off Victory

U-N-I-T-E-D
U-N-I T-E-D
United are the team for me
With a knick knack paddywack give a dog a bone
All you *insert name* fuck off home

Bruce Kamau
We've got Kamau,
Brucey Kamau.
I just don't think you understand.
He scores them with his left,
He scores them with his right.
We've got Brucey Kamau

Marcelo Carrusca
Oh le le
Oh la la
Marcelo
Carrusca

Home in a barrel
If you come down to Adelaide you might not come alone
If you come down to Adelaide you might not make it home
We told you once we told you twice
South Australia's not very nice
We'll chop you up and put you in a barrel
Home in a barrel
You're going home in a barrel
Home in a barrel
You're going home in a barrel

Tifosi Adelaide
We'll sing for You *clap clap clap clap*
AUFC *clap clap clap clap*
Inspire You *clap clap clap clap*
To Victory *clap clap clap clap*

Other shorter chants that are self explanatory. Tetris theme, Shalalala AUFC, plethora of United chants, Adelaide/United, Fuck off Melbourne Victory ole, When the Reds go marching in, jump for Adelaide United ole ole, Wonderwall, We hate you cos you're Victorian, Twist and shout and many many more

I actually prefer the original words from the Johan Cabaye version at Newcastle - "Don't sell Cabaye"

But I suppose threatening to riot wouldn't really be in keeping with the good behavior stance we're all supposed to exhibiting at the moment
