Should mean another opportunity for Dugandzic.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

We have good depth. Losing a few players that are regular starters doesnt seem too bad with this squad.

Agree. This is why I'm so against people wanting to give Malik and La Rocca the boot. Injuries and suspensions are inevitable, 11 players don't win a championship. We have good depth. Losing a few players that are regular starters doesnt seem too bad with this squad.

Across the whole squad I think we have as much depth as any, our top end just isn't as good as the big city teams. This is what hurts us in the finals in particular because those players can win a match with a bit of magic.Agree. This is why I'm so against people wanting to give Malik and La Rocca the boot. In some ways that is why I like us to spend resources developing youth, to develop "X" factors rather than trying to purchase them, as it is a game that we'll ultimately lose when facing the big spenders.Across the whole squad I think we have as much depth as any, our top end just isn't as good as the big city teams. Yeah totally agree. Which is why this youth team re-structure is so concerning. In some ways that is why I like us to spend resources developing youth, to develop "X" factors rather than trying to purchase them, as it is a game that we'll ultimately lose when facing the big spenders.Across the whole squad I think we have as much depth as any, our top end just isn't as good as the big city teams. It's a difficult question, I suppose it depends if we want to take it to Brisbane or control the midfield more and frustrate them.Actually, even though he cops it from me, I reckon La Rocca in for Mells and play with this midfield:
...Isa...La Rocca
....Carrusca
CDM sounds like La Rocca's preferred spot so let's see what he can do.

For me Isaias at the base of midfield is non-negotiable, he's at the heart of our style of play. La Rocca has had one good game -at CB- I would rather not gamble with the setup too much.

If McKay is out I'd be more willing to attack in the centre of the park. It's a difficult question, I suppose it depends if we want to take it to Brisbane or control the midfield more and frustrate them.Actually, even though he cops it from me, I reckon La Rocca in for Mells and play with this midfield:

Re: Preview: Brisbane v AUFC 22/01/16
Everyone was talking about how the bald Spanish bloke had a shocker for Brisbane in the centre, but for me their fullbacks looked just as shaky against Melbourne. Steffanuto in particular was given a bath by Barbarouses, I would back Cirio (if he plays) or Goodwin to have a fair bit of success in wide areas.
