Cue Eli having an absolute nightmare but tapping the winner in from a yard out and being hailed as the Messiah by Salmon & Co.It's almost certainly the latter.Hopefully this means he has shown some form in training. Otherwise its just an example of how desperate we are for a strike option.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFINALLYSounds like babalj is starting

Salmon, so your saying eli has almost cetainly not shown any form on the training track ? I understand your tired of bruce but i dont see the logic of that postCue Eli having an absolute nightmare but tapping the winner in from a yard out and being hailed as the Messiah by Salmon & Co.It's almost certainly the latter.Hopefully this means he has shown some form in training. Also I didn't mean to imply that Eli doesn't training well. I was joking that Adelaide are so desperate to get a striker who scores that they'd rush Eli back just so Bruce doesn't fuck it up.

A little frustrating but we dont have the benefit of seeing everything the coaching staff sees. Maybe Babalj has only got a half in him at the moment and GA would prefer him to give him a run as perf starts to tire.

Bruce is always 2nd to the ball. If he was sharper he might have had 2 goals already.
23 minute mark - couldn't hit the target from 12 metres out.

If he's always second to the ball how did he get possession to shoot?Bruce is always 2nd to the ball. If he was sharper he might have had 2 goals already.

Also played the cf role perfectly to set up that goal. He had a good first half offered the team a strong targetIf he's always second to the ball how did he get possession to shoot?Bruce is always 2nd to the ball. If he was sharper he might have had 2 goals already.

I will concede I spoke too soon. I thought he lacked a bit of sharpness early, maybe because he's down in confidence, but yes, the goal assist was good and I noticed the team did start playing the ball to him, which they haven't for some time.I imagine this was exactly the role Gombau had him pegged forAlso played the cf role perfectly to set up that goal. So yes, promising signs from Djite and he will be on the scoresheet soon if he has more games like that.
