i really hope for the teams sake that we get more than 25k to AO...
if we got 15k to adelaide oval it would be a disgrace.

He has to play. Gomby will risk him I reckon.i was there for the 1st hour of training today - he was doing light work away from the main group but was running...
What was the mood of the group? Hopefully they haven't let this AO debate get to them.
I love it that AU and Roar have exclusive use of AO this week and Crows and Pear are raging for not being able to train in the lead up to the the Showdown

i wasn't there for the whole training session but the pitch looked good, the ball wasn't running away from them like it did against victory.
the mood was good - the boys were having a good time, no real screaming by gomby. i just saw them in a couple of small sided games and then they were working on their play from the back.
couldn't really tell who was going to be starting, marrone was training with the group at right back. tomorrow is a closed session and they will be working on final 11 and shape then i would imagine.

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar
You'd think any A-League team who lost their main striker it would be a massive loss, it's almost the opposite for us this week. Bruce has been in terrible form, let's not sugarcoat it, and should have already been dropped a few weeks ago.
Pablo needs to keep his spot ahead of Jimmy. Play him alongside Chelo with a front third of Awer, Palanca and Cirio. It's a deadly attack and should trouble the Roar a lot if we play to our potential.
Malik or McGowan? Well it's a difficult decision. I can see Gombau playing Malik at RB, which would be the wrong decision IMO. Elrich is better at LB but he should be moving across to cover for the loss of Marrone and Goody to play at LB.

Problem is if Malik plays RB then Goody is surely on the pine.
Not sure how a mid 3 of Pablo, Carrusca & Isa would go from the start - that's a lot of forward ability but not much defensive.

Disappointing I won't be able to make it this week. Hopefully we can finally put on a good show when there's something on the line.

Any update on ticket sales? I imagine there would be a large number of walkups. I hope they have more staff on the ticket booths than last time as some people didn't get in until half time.
