If anyone is still trying to buy, my advice is to jump on a computer and use the MOBILE sit: m.ticketek.com.au
Adelaide United FC: our club, our city, our state.
Re: Adelaide United vs Liverpool FC (July 20, 2015)
Yup had the errors on Ticketek too when trying to pay.
Managed to snap up 5x tickets in Section S525 (level 5, pretty much dead on behind Southern goals.
Cannae wait!

Wish you could select which tier to sit, because bottom tier sucks for viewing at Adelaide Oval. No way I'm going to pay for gold if there in bottom tier.

Thing is, if your forking out for Gold, you may as well pay the bit extra for plat, the plat seats are perfect (had them for malaga game.

It's a pretty small price to pay to see one of the greatest sides ever to play in Adelaide take on some mid table club from England.Thing is, if your forking out for Gold, you may as well pay the bit extra for plat, the plat seats are perfect (had them for malaga game.

Meh, pass at that price.
Re: Adelaide United vs Liverpool FC (July 20, 2015)
Yeah made the same assessment this morning when I saw the seating chart. Cant justify it at that price if I cant guarantee a good view. Especially since I doubt AU will be taking much of a cut of those ticket sales.Meh, pass at that price.
A lot of mates were complaining about it timing out and then offering them worse seats each time they tried again.
Anyone know how this compares to the melb v Liverpool game price wise?
Hope it sells out but I wont be there.

I've heard its a little more expensive than the MCG game. But also has 45,000 less seats.. so it makes sense.
I paid $220 for platinum seats (bay 207) right in the middle. Considering I paid $200 for gold seats to watch real Madrid and Man city play where I'm situated in the corner at the MCG.
I don't see what people are complaining about. A: this is the only time you'll see your club play Liverpool.
B: I was in England a few years ago and to see Liverpool at Anfield was about £200. Enjoy watching from the couch...

I went to see them at the MCG which was great for YNWA but after that it was a bit of a meh game really. Was great to see it but I don't need to see it again for the cost of a season ticket, even if they are playing AUFC.

For most of us it seems we would rather spend that extra money on an away game then endure a drawn out friendly. Will do.I've heard its a little more expensive than the MCG game. But also has 45,000 less seats.. so it makes sense.

Most of the article is a bit meh but these bits were interesting for us
Adelaide United is expected to receive a $250,000 appearance fee to face Liverpool.

Its pretty small money compared to what Liverpool are earning. But in relativity terms its the basically a year's salary of one of either club's best players covered. Most of the article is a bit meh but these bits were interesting for us

If AU are making that much from the MV clash with the added bonus of a substantial amount more corporate facilities to lure more sponsors with I'm certain we'll be attending AU games at AO more and more.

Sweet that $250k appearance income will cover the $250k FFA expense for hosting an international friendly
