Ross Aloisi leaves Brisbane Roar.
They’re sitting 5th, 3 points off 2nd, I’m not sure how much more they expected?

It seems he has a better offer ...
Brisbane Roar have been shocked on Christmas Eve by the departure of manager Ross Aloisi with strong rumours that he will take up a job in China.

Yes, it's a bit strange.
They are probably throwing money at the Australians.

An unbelievable result, especially given that a. we belted MC Petrodollars 5 - 0 on the opening weekend and b. the Meow should have had the 'new gaffer bounce', with Ross Aloisi leaving suddenly and Luciano Troini stepping up. Astonishing.

I doubt you'd get much "new gaffer bounce" under those circumstances.
I could imagine the shocked BR players would have had rejection / inferiority complexes suddenly in the change rooms poor buggers.

Agreed. New gaffer bounce comes when the team's been crap and the coach has been sacked. Not when they've been flying high and the coach leaves for an assistant coaching role in China.

Western Sydney head coach Marko Rudan faces a potentially hefty penalty after unleashing a post-match tirade that included claims of “an absolute stigma attached to my football club”.

Football Australia (FA) said it will issue Rudan with a show cause notice following his comments made after the Wanderers’ last-gasp 4-3 defeat to Macarthur in their A-League Men clash on Sunday night.
