More worry ...
Professional Footballers Australia, the players’ union, has gone public with concerns about the direction of the A-Leagues and the management of the domestic competitions by operator APL, shattering the private protocols usually obeyed by football’s key stakeholders.

He's only just extended until the end of 26-27 season. Could they afford to sack him? Would be a huge payout.

The A-Leagues face the potential loss of two clubs next season unless takeovers can be concluded within “a few weeks”, according to Stephen Conroy, the chair of the leagues’ operator Australian Professional Leagues (APL).

Conroy’s comments came at the announcement of the A-League All Stars games scheduled for Melbourne in May, and exposed heightened concerns over slow progress of sale negotiations that stretch back to last year.
Newcastle Jets are currently owned by a consortium of four other A-League Men club owners, and a sale has been held up in negotiations.

Plugged pulled ...
Longstanding broadcasters NEP have stepped in to save the A-Leagues’ blushes of an Easter weekend TV blackout after production partners Global Advance were placed into voluntary administration.

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) were forced into a scramble on Tuesday when Global Advance notified them of their inability to produce broadcasts of this weekend’s matches and their intention to enter into administration.
We basically pay to be on the TV, I did not know that.
Shocking.
Unlike most other codes in Australia, the A-Leagues pay roughly $12m for the production of their games which are then broadcast on Network Ten and Paramount+.

The sight of dozens of Adelaide United supporters lining up to secure an autograph from the club’s outgoing teenage sensation Nestory Irankunda was a reminder the A-League still has fans.

We’ve been waiting a while for that kind of performance from Irankunda.

He’s a superstar in the making, but at times he’s let a lack of emotional maturity blunt his effectiveness and prompt coach Carl Veart to put him back to the bench this season.

Brisbane beat the Wallies and our season stays alive.
And as a bonus, Western Utd beat Macarthur.
Now we just need … I can barely write it … Victory to beat City.
(Oh and for us to beat Perth & our game in hand Western.)

Well, thank you Melbourne Victory.
