Australia Cup 2022

We have drawn Newcastle Jets away in the round of 32.

Tough game to start things off.

Going deep in the FFA Cup is crucial for a strong preseason so hopefully we can get the job done.

Our first game is this Saturday away from home.

We should have a very similar squad to last year you'd think, so hopefully that holds us in good stead.

Gauci
Lopez-Barr-Poppa-Kitto
Isa-D'Arrigo
Blackwood
Bernado-Ibusuki-Goody

I would probably go with the above given availability. I think Juande only returned this week.

Has there been any talk of pre-season games? This must be such a tough game to prepare for being 2 months before the actual season starts.

Saving grace will be our team should be very similar to the back end of last season.

3 out of 3 Adelaide teams into the Round of 16.
Great effort!

Indeed!

Top effort from Modbury with their hammering of Armadale in Perth. They are on their way back to the SA NPL as well, so 2022 is turning out to be a decent year for them.

Just watched the live draw (not live for me).
Bit disrespectful towards “Modury” to not get their name right?

SU58 fans have turned up in huge numbers which is great to see but some of the things I've seen on twitter from the fans are just pathetic.

Nazi salutes, throwing bottles on the pitch.

Not sure we need another club with fans like this in the league.

On the other hand we have a plastic Macarthur team with no fans.

Bad day for Aus football.

MacArthur have a bloody good team this year.

Arzani and Davilla are gonna carve up.

If Dwight can get the humming they're gone be hard to beat.

Totally. The worst of 'old' football rears it VERY ugly head. Again.
Should be banned from the comp next season. Couldn't be happier they lost.
Zero respect for the National Anthem and the Welcome to Country.
I hope the FFA actually does something but I have every expectation they won't.

The club should also take responsibility for its supporters and take action.
