You can take the boy out of Adelaide but you can't take the Adelaide out of the boy.

Hopefully Melbourne Petrodollars win tomorrow, are allowed to host the GF, and get the win.

So sweet to see Sydney suffer in the GF.

Currently HT-

Sydney score to go in front.
City's youngsters tear them open and equalise straight after.
Luke Brattan finally gets his comeuppance with 2 yellow cards (admittedly they both could have been red) and a send off in tears after getting away with attempted murder all season.
City win a clear pen after Luna gets his body across the ball and Caceres tries to play at the ball through the back of Luna.
Lots of Sydney tears online, hopefully City pile it on in the second half.

Coming into this game I didn't realise which team I wanted to win less but seeing the faces of the Sydney players and coaches as things aren't going their way with the ref is giving me a , for lack of a better term, "justice boner".

Edit- Sydney may well come back into the game, I'm just enjoying the way it's going at the moment.

Andy Harper suggesting that someone might have to have a word with the linesman because he's giving too many free kicks to Melbourne City...

Calling for a red card evener upperer against city for a 50/50 challenge.

Sweet music

City win 3-1, Galloway with the sealer in added time.

Sydney players throwing themselves on the ground all 2nd half and turning to look at ref for the foul, not getting it and then staying on the ground sulking made it worth the watch.

Loved that moment when Sydney finally got it down City’s end, ref gave City a very soft free kick, which they took absolutely ages to take …. Corica going off at the ref at that moment. 😁😁😁

Another team fails to go above us on the ladder, with Macarthur losing to Victory. It’s as if the other clubs don’t want a home final.

Wow.
MC lose to Perth.
Western United draw with Newcastle.
1 point between 1st & 3rd going into the last game.
The A-league is great!

This is the most fascinating end to a season in years. Now the League just needs to schedule all the final matches at the same time, on the same day, exactly as happens in the EPL (and lower leagues).

Watching the Western v Victory match and Western were robbed of a penalty as well as another case where they should have had a corner.

If we make the final and face Victory then I'd rather prefer a different main-video referee combination.

Such a blatant penalty!
I usually like Faghani as a ref. Takes no nonsense from the players and no play acting …. but he got that completely wrong. Assistant ref running the line should have called it, if the ref was at the wrong angle to see it. And VAR has gone from calling everything by the millimetre to calling nothing.
