Victory look toothless under Kurz. I think his coaching style worked for us but it has not translated well to a 'bigger' club.

If I can't watch Adelaide win then watching Victory lose is some compensation :)

Imagine Toivenen getting injured? They would be completely toothless, he's saving their blushes a little at the moment

Toivenen and Nabbout out for the victory today against a full strength Sydney.

I'm expecting MV to get smashed and Kurz to get sacked in the morning...

Top 2 teams beaten by 2 of the bottom 3 teams.

Good for us as we climb the table, keeps everyone in reach.

Good question. Victory are only one point from the bottom, held up by the Mariners who have two games in hand.

They're also 1 of only 2 teams to have played games so nearly every team has at least 1 game in hand against them.

The Victory-'Nix game sounded a thuggish affair; 8 yellows and a straight red to Victory. Perhaps they should rename AAMI "Thunderdome".

I can almost see Kurz telling Talay after the game, "Well, 'aint we a pair, Raggedy Man."

Mr.Rudan thinks their crap don't smell ...

“I thought we were smoking cigars in the second half to be honest with you,” Rudan said. “I thought we were really in control the whole time without the ball. The last two games we’ve controlled the opposition without the ball and I believe it’s a fine art being able to play without the ball.”

We don't meet them till January 26th.
Farken the 16th match day.
Who planned this stupid thing?

Not to mention he went and celebrated with his players after the final whistle instead of shaking hands with the opposition coach and then had an argument with the roar ceo/board member (something like that) because Fowler didn't stick around to shake hands after his celebrations.

They are becoming an easy team to dislike, acting like they every game they win is historic, every goal is the most amazing goal, that and they have been featured so heavily in prime time slots, no bye until round 15, a derby every other week. Yes we get it FFA/Fox sports, you want this new team to do well but don't forget about us idiots who have been investing for years.

What is it with these Melbourne teams?

Rumours abound that Scott MacDonald has asked for an immediate release from Western United and may be Newcastle bound. Some are saying it's from unpaid player wages. Other players expected to follow suit and request a release.

Could just be smoke...
