It's not a full merger as has been Chinese whispered, but correct - purely a formal affiliation to push for more SA FFA Cup spots.Holy heck.
This means more representation in the FFA Cup yeah?
What a great outcome.
I don't think the Federations really have a say. Its allocated based on participation numbers. So if we gain an ffa cup spot, who would lose one? I don't see any federation giving a spot up so I will believe it when I see it
Depends on what you are asking. All SAASL clubs will now be eligible to enter the FFA Cup preliminary rounds. The increased participation numbers mean SA will now earn extra spot(s) in the R32.Can someone with more knowledge than me tell me how many more ‘federation’ clubs will now be eligible to play in the FFA Cup to before?
I’m guessing it would be all the SAASL clubs?
And how does our number compare to the other states?
