Victory receiving a shellacking in Newcastle, a hammering that started well before Milligan's red.

VAR gives a penalty and sends of Malik and at the other end a MC player is dragged down in the penalty area during a free kick and they make MC take the free again?

WTF?

Maybe I missed something as I was watching the game with Spanish commentary.

Why does matt simon get a red there but against us in the ffa cup final where his reaction was more violent he went without sanction.

Roar v Victory in 15 minutes. You'd have to imagine Muscat's tenure will be looking shakey if they fail to perform tonight. The Victory Facebook page went into melt-down after our 9 man win. Made for pleasant reading :)

Santalab getting elbowed in the face in the penalty area for no free. I love it.

I hate it, it should have been a penalty no matter who was on the receiving end.

The referee probably knew Maccarone is a good guy and there was no malice in it...

I agree with you ghost, I hate to see it ever go unnoticed but at the same time you have to think it is karma doing its thing when you have a largely unpunished thug like Santalab being on the receiving end of his own medicine.

Ahh the romance of football...

this league eats its own children. Teams just cant win at home which leads to disgruntled fans. Glad over 11k still turn up at suncorp but glory fans have had enough. Sydney the only team doing well at home and their fans dont care unless there is a del piero out there.

troisi is one card away from suspension. Commits 8 fouls. The same as our total last night and doesnt cop a yellow. Fouls including high boot and shirt pulls. Well done referees for once again proving to be the worst in the world

Perth vs City right now 0-2

Was that a pen for you guys?

I thought at full speed it was a pen but the replay looked like a dive. VAR upheld the penalty.

I did not see the incident as I was out walking...

But Perth deep in the brown again.

They suck at playing out from the back and they have had no success from long balls either. Castro looks no where near the player he used to be and is struggling to create. Could be the players around him though.

Damning.

:D

I saw the penalty reply at half time.
From the side it looked like a penalty but from straight on it was hard to tell.

I think from straight on it seemed like he was falling before the contact but you would say it wasn't an 'obvious error' because there was contact. VAR probably got it right, just curious to see what others thought.
