I believe what people get up to in their spare time is their business, so long as they're not hurting anyone. And everyone deserves a second chance.
Nicholls was already moved on from other clubs for being a party boy though and has a bit of a reputation as a destabilising influence. I don't want him at Adelaide - we need to keep our 'no dickheads policy' intact as much as possible!

I lead a quiet life. I had no idea he was a problem child. To me he always looked like an arrogant goody-goody Saints boy (no offence meant to Saints boys).

I wasn't aware we had a no dickheads policy, but if we do I'm glad to hear it.

Out of interest, who are the well known A League Dickheads? Is it Kevin Muscat? He certainly has the appearance and behaviour worthy of consideration.

From what I hear there was a bit of a party boy culture at Brisbane with him and Kruse. I think that's one of the reasons why Kruse went to MV.

I doubt the club actually has a no dickheads policy. It would more likely be if you're a dickhead party boy Adelaide doesn't seem like a destination for you.

As one of the articles on this discusses. A lot of these professional sports people are just boys in men's bodies earning men's wages.
Find a period of time where young men haven't done stupid things and you'll probably find a period of world peace. But that's not to say boys will be boys. But I would much rather hear that HAL players are getting caught with a personal amount of drugs in their pockets than being done for actively drink driving or any sort of sexual assault.
My sister in law worked in the sexual assault area of a Western Sydney hospital. She would see on a literally weekly basis what boys being boys results in for a huge number of women.
