Only 8k showed up last night. #Vi$ion
8k total crowd?!?!? That is disgraceful.
I honestly believe South Melbourne would be a more successful club attendance wise.

On the back on the Melbourne Derby and Timmy signing surely many tickets would sell themselves. 8k is shockingly low IMO.

I think sydney are overated.

Today was the first time they played a team who decided to turn up and sfc just plain got lucky.

So to with city tbh. Yeah they are incredibly dynamic and can turn a game on its head but i dont feel like they are a cohesive unit yet more so just a bunch of talented individuals.

One quality these clubs have over us however is they take their chances.

Watching a few replays of the other games this weekend.
A large number of sides really aren't impressing me.

Sydney FC - beatable and outclassed away to Nix at times
Perth Glory - Probably the form side
Melbourne City - Very beatable
Newcastle Jets - Hot and cold
Melbourne Victory - beatable
Western Sydney Wanderers - Hot and cold
Brisbane Roar - Far higher up the ladder then their form suggests
Adelaide United
Central Coast Mariners - Will they score this season?
Wellington Phoenix - Without luck this season

Kenny Lowe-
“Oh, let’s just sit there like a little cat with our arms and legs in the air and they can tickle our belly and go and score three and everyone can pump Tim up again,”
Quote of the round.

:D

Kenny Lowe cops a 3 match ban for offensive language and gestures towards a referee.

Is Muscat going to cop a fine for swearing at a cameraman on live TV? Or are we just supposed to accept him as just a fiery character letting off steam?

Should have lit a flare while swearing have got away with it

Shaun Evans says not enough for a second yellow.

It was wonderful to see it being announced on Sunrise. Cross promotion like this is huge for the game, so hopefully this is just the beginning for that. I've always wondered if Football started rivalling other codes for cross-promotional spending on the commercial networks would the angle of their reporting on crowd behaviour change?

The campaign itself appears to be a pretty big success as far a exposure goes, and its a fairly accurate one as well with so many people in Australia un-engaged but HAL clubs.
I'm just glad it's over so it stops cluttering up my twitter feed with "news" I have no care for.

was this a genuine thing where this kid picks a club? Or was it just a staged pre rehearsed advert?

I always considered it to be the latter and figured he would "choose " ccm or jets as they need the most positive publicity.

Ohwell seems to have got people interested so well done to the marketing team.
