And now 2-0 to MCY. City dominating the game, MV 40 completed passes to 120.

Wow. That goal from cahill. Wow. In a derby.
And now the second from Fornaroli.

:D

I don't know if I should be pleased that Victory are getting hammered or worried about what happens when we face City.

We will have to play a winless Victory next week.

They have to back up against city 3 or 4 days after playing us.

I think in this instance beating city in the ffa cup semi may be more important than beating us in the premiership for moral. I wont be surprised if they field a week line up against us.

I am really enjoying the meltdown from victory supporters today. Sack muscat, sack bozanic, ffa screwed us on diamanti... haha. Hopefully city can destroy them in the cup too.

Have to lol at the suggestions of kamau to be called up for the socceroos.

He was fantastic last night, but he was fantastic for us in the back end of last season but somehow must have been wearing camouflage until he arrived in the east.

According to mv fans berisha is passed it lmao, conversely city fans acting like the top dog all of a sudden in just as cringey.

we all know you can't make it to the big time unless you play on the east coast.
Kamau was awesome last night, so were most of the city squad. very concerned they will run away with it unless glory and sydney can chip some points off them.
as for city fans, i hope they get confident and garner some more fans from it but finals are a long way away yet.

Im not sure city will run away with it.

Cahill in midfield worked last night but his work rate was minuscule and only lasted 65 minutes. Victorys midfield did not even turn up so its hard to judge where city are at.

I would be interested to see if city dominate a sydney or even adelaide midfield ( with carussca ). They certainly have the players but do they have the structure and a plan b that they lacked last season.

Im tipping a city , sydney , adelaide and perth top four based on what ive seen

City weren't impressive against wellington. Could be a case of lifting for the derby?

Cahill was a true marquee last night in the sense that he had 2 defenders on him at all times and everyone else could run riot.

Newy pulled a big result and boogs got on the score sheet. hopefully that puts our result last week into perspective?
Glory doing it fairly comfortably against Wellington at the moment too

Footballing logic,
Round 1- we drew with newcastle 1-1. Bris drew with MV 1-1.
Round 2-Newy beats Bris 4-0.

Therefore we should win next weekend 4-0 against MV?

Right?

;)
