Hilarious.
They complain about City wanting to "steal" their colours. So then they just go and "steal" Victory's.

Looks sharp but very Victory-esque.

Re: Sydney FC
Great to see Sydney "Salary Cap Cheats" FC favourite for the title again. Of course they are under the salary cap wink, wink, nod, nod. Everyone is coming to Sydney for the sights and good times not for the money. Gifts to the wives are off course not counted in the Salary Cap.

Re: Sydney FC
pretty much everything is added to the salary cap. Only relocation costs and the like are exempt. The simple thing is they spend big on marquees and utilise the whole $2.9million on the other 20 players minus a few youth. We probably only spend the 90% of the cap with no real marquees outside the cap. It makes a big big difference in the squads

Ok so these guys are good. But what are they doing for aussie football? They almost refuse to blood youth players and thats at their benefit but the countries loss.

I remember we had 20+ fouls once in a game and we got a please explain from the FFA. Wonder if the victory will... etc etc...And mvfc got away with 30fouls in a match for only 2 yellows.
Rhys Williams is such a dirty player and apparently victory are looking to sign Dino Djulbic in January.

Sydney have got away with sending no players to U23s as a result.
If their success was drawing big crowds and media attention then that is something, but sfc has few fans
Im willing to bet hindmarsh would average 14k a game if aufc had similar success ( hanmstrung by a smaller capacity at hindmarsh ) and participation in the game would skyrocket.
I think WSW have done more for the game, some good some bad.
Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Brillante's second yellow of the season!?!
And VAR gave it to him.
The Ref was happy to let him go with a scything high tackle...

Yes I did bpowell454.
Unbelievable to be honest.
But seeing the type of tackle that nearly went unpunished today stirred me up again.
