It looks bloody impressive.
Who would have thought 5 years ago WSW would have not only achieved what they have but would have a 30k stadium built arguably due entirely to their existence and success.
I wouldnt expect all those bells and whistles from the clip to make it to the final version of the stadium, it will likely be watered down ( leds screens covering the whole stadium for example )

However it looks fantastic, it sounds like hindmarsh stadium on steroids tbh. It has a steep stadium incline with the corners and a roof. Perfect for football. Also being a modern stadium the corporate areas will be huge money spinners for their tennants ( assuming rent is reasonable ) so this we be a big positive for sponsors.

If you were a sydney sided and not sure who you should support i think this new stadium tips it over the line to be an obvious answer. Sfc in trouble ?

Also this is huge for the league. It shows the growthe of the game and paves the way for other cities to to follow a proven model. I think a huge driver for this is a strong aleague team with an nrl team in the winter. IMO an nrl team in adelaide would be a massive boost for aufc to tackle the afl / cricket and lobby the government for better facilities.

Totally agree but is an NRL side in Adelaide at all feasible?

So....yet another incident for this club from its infamous rbb. Point deductions hanging over their heads and they display a clearly homophobic banner. If the ffa dont enforce the point suspension and fine now the rbb may as well do as they please from now on. A spineleess gutless ffa will no doubt fail to act as they should.

I agree. I feel any club beside WSW that cops any sort of sanction in the future should have grounds for legal action on the FFA if WSW are able to seemingly do what they like.

Obviously the perpetrators in the RBB need to be punished. Whether WSW do or not is down to how they deal with the situation.

The rubbish I've read on Twitter and other places about how "it isn't homophobic" and "PC gone mad" is just sad. If it was the Red Army that did this and the club turned a blind eye, I'd be furious.

So apparently all they've done is come out with a meek "we don't condone it". This should have been dealt with by now.

Throw the book at them.

Homophobia this week racism the next? We dont want to turn into the afl here yet the ffa seem happy to let it go with a harsh naughty boys and a finger waving. Gutless as suspected

"FFA have issued us another show cause notice!"

"Yeah chuck it on the pile with the rest of them."

WSW have banned 14 members who they deem responsible for smuggling in and erecting the offending banner for 18 months. Then the offenders must also complete a social awareness course. Pretty strong words to the rbb in their statement too, basically saying if you think the RBB is bigger than WSW then we don't want people like you at the games.

I wonder are these bannings purely reactive after so much scrutiny put on their club do to their weak response ?

Rbb are becoming a huge problem for wsw. Didnt half of the rbb split because they were using money inappropriately and causing too much trouble. No doubt they feel agrieved the club turned on them and will try to prove they are everything and should be allowed to do as they please.

Popovic quits and takes Turkish super league coaching job 7 days before the start of the season.

I think this will be good for the Wanderers.
