One thread to keep all general A-league match day results, comments, previews .
But If anyone has anything specif to discuss/share/announce please feel free to start another thread.

It's only one game but I wonder how long Popovic will be able to hide behind the ACL win from last season. I'm not a fan of changing coaches too regularly but if he is less than mid table by mid season, with the squad that he has available, then surely his time is up. Unfortunately you can't rely on the referee to win you the HAL as well as the ACL

Bogey, Mullen & Watto starting for the Jets today.
Will be interested to see how Watto goes in his preferred central midfield role. Never got much of a chance there with us - did he ever start in CM during his time here?

In JG's first season he had a good run in the role.Bogey, Mullen & Watto starting for the Jets today.

There was a decent winning streak where IMO his good form had a lot to do with it. I think at one point the club went 500 mins without conceding while Watto was on the pitch.
I was sad to see him go but Jeggo is definitely a better option for the club.

The tards go from 2-0 up to 2-2 and still have the fight and ability to score and win 3-2
SFC score a late winner with brosque being a good goal poacher. in short...clubs with strikers that score won games this weekend
