Channel 10 will show saturday night games and finals games simulcast on their channel 'One' starting 2017/18. At least its a HD channel! SBS only just starting showing the friday games in HD and now it seems they'll lose them.

Its a great step forward. I think the ABC Liverpool debacle couldn't have come at a better time. Hopefully this pushes the FFA into action on the standard of coverage expected of Ten.
I hope this includes a large amount of cross-promotion.

It will be interesting to see who Ten get in for the coverage. I just hope they don't try and replicate the Big Bash style of coverage! I spend most games cringing at the lousy banter or Howie acting like somehow he's just as much of an authority on the game as Mark Waugh or Ricky Ponting.

The fact it is simulcast from Fox would mean that it's the same feed / same commentary team.

Not a bad outcome. Fox have it sorted.

Ah true. I'm pretty comfortable with Fox's coverage.

So Channel 10 now in Voluntary Administration.

Wonder what this means for the HAL on One?

What a shambles.

Hilarious that the FFA spend all this time carefully looking at which channel to put the HAL on. Then they hand it to a channel about to go under.

I think channel ten the company is going under not the actual station. From what I've read there will be no effect on the HAL simulcast

Just go back to Simpsons at 6pm weeknights and Russel Coight on Sundays. That'll fix everything!

It seems that the move to put channel 10 into administration was a tactical one to allow it to be taken over jointly by billionaire Bruce Gordon and News. It certainly does not mean the channel is about to go under. Bruce Gordon is massive football fan and supporter of Woolongong Wolves so far from this being a bad thing it might actually lead to channel 10 being owned, at least in part, by a person who wants to promote football. It could be one of the best things ever to happen to football in Australia.
