Frank Lowy takes a massive stack off the stage when presenting the trophy. Celebrations delayed for minutes.

Jesus.

He's back up and tempered celebrations with him on stage.

I'm sure I'll get some agreement on this forum with this statement...

We may not have won in the end, but we would have made much more of a game out of it.

It's nice seeing someone other than us get dismantled by Melbourne in a grand final though.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Lowys tumble was terrible.

Literally landed on his head, ive seen athletes not get up from something similar.

Hope he gets the respect he deserves .

Agreed. Sydney seemed so conceded right from the first whistle.

I walked to the kitchen to get something to eat, I come back and I see Lowy on the ground, I'm like wtf just happened?! I thought the worst, but thankfully he got back up!

What a crap final honestly. Not just the result, but the consensus on here that Sydney didn't even look interested.

Terrible game but at least the team that tried to play football won. Sydney got what they deserved.

Hate the team, dislike the guy, but Berisha's goal was still pretty awesome even if Sydney didn't turn up to the races.

Overall for the casual observer it could be seen as a good game.

Never thought I'd say this but I'm glad Melbourne won. They play a much more positive game than Sydney, and they are actually (despite Muscat being the coach) a much fairer & less niggly side.
Sydney with the likes of Petkovic and Ryall are so, so hateable.

Yeah I agree. Off the field I think MV are a very well run club. I think the HAL is better for club's like MV only 10 years old and they are already in the top 20 riches sporting clubs in Australia. It seems they are very focused on being run sustainably as well.

Muscat is the perfect representative of the club as well.
I absolutely hate the bloke but you have to respect what he has done at HAL level.

I enjoy nothing more then watching AU beat MV but I think the league would be a lot better if we had more club's like MV.
I hope with what Arnie achieved at CCM he can bring that to SFC. In their history it seems SFC are always just focused on the short term. Every decision they made seems to be purely focused on just keeping their whinging fans happy. But I feel their short sightedness is actually scaring more fans off.
Time to Djbate!
