Almost 30,000 people attended the sold-out Grand Final at the boutique venue AAMI Park, which according to De Bohun created "an atmosphere unparalleled in Australian sport".

Despite that, agreements are now in place to ensure the Grand Final is played at a bigger venue in Melbourne if the city was to host another season decider.
"We'll work with the governments and the stadiums to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Although seriously those numbers are pretty damn impressive!
"Somewhere between 250 and 300 million people would have watched the Hyundai A-League Grand Final, which is a massive result for us."

Yeah I don't know about that ahahah. Probably around 3-4mil, which still isn't bad.

It was good to see all the FFA cup advertising during the final though. My memory is a bit iffy, but I don't recall any ads on free to air for the FFA cup, they should get cracking on that.

The final was shown here in Europe (as far as I know) on a Football dedicated internet and satellite TV station called "sportdigital".

"sportdigital" telecast the entire A-league live.
