That's how easy your season can end...

Shot, post, off the keeper, goal and all over red rover.

Disappointing for the Nux. At one stage it looked like they would take out the premiership.

Melbourne Derby next week. Anything can happen.

Sigh of relief for the FFA. Only one non-real team left in the final four (us) - all they have to do is assign the right ref and they don't even have to worry about us.

On this game, I think the Nix will feel disappointed with the way they went out. They looked good in the first half but fell away in the second. As for MC, I don't think MV will be feeling too worried about next week's game.

Mv have a history of losing to city on the big stage.

IMO mv players and fans will secretly have a lump in their throat over this game

FFA should have booked this at the mcg since if they want to be consistant ( yes i know , pre booked by afl )

The derby needs to be played at the largest venue available. If that is in Sydney then bad luck to the fans, it must be played in the largest venue possible.

Funny to think that a semi-final will have a bigger crowd than the grand final. The FFA really have made a meal of things haven't they.

FFA can fix that by ensuring City win so the GF will be in Sydney or Adelaide!

Shocking result well done City.

Here's hoping its a spiteful derby with reds a plenty!

I think you could punch someone and not get a red judging by the lack of cards in the elimination finals

To be honest - I like that.

Obviously blatant reds need to be punished but hopefully the trend continues.

Expect a couple of dodgy ones this week to go against the little guys.

Apart from facing us, Victory's finals record is rubbish.

I would not be surprised if City steal a win. It'd show a finals system can make a mockery of our league, but in this context, would be so worth it.
