would be good to play a state league side, but yeah the risk of an embarrassing loss is always a worry. especially as it's pre season for us. man I would love to win it again.

The risk is always there however playing an NPL side brings some of the magic of the FFA Cup which was missing last year until almost the final.

But this season we're in Pot A, so we are gaurenteed a NPL club to face.

Two potential SA NPL clubs to face this season tho
