I don't mind Ned, but he just needs to vary and change certain phrases.

That said, it's refreshing to have a new name in commentary. He also does indeed know what he's talking about, something Slater and Harper do not.

Harper knows his stuff. But he's better off as a pundit on a panel rather than doing live commentary.
Slater is a complete spud though and I have absolutely no idea how he's forged a long and fruitful career in television.

Im nit sure he is a cheerleader for aufc, more so he just gets really excited when he is watching good football.

Ive noticed he brings cockerill out of his shell a little and forces him into conversations he normally wouldnt have on air.

I didn't mean that he's a cheerleader for us. Some of the other clubs have clear cheerleaders that regardless of how crap they're playing get praised.

Personally I think the Speed/Zelic combo is the best.

i actually don't mind cocker ill with ned because Ned keeps him honest.

Its kinda like listening to Bill Lawry and Tony Grieg, two complete opposites which is an absolute laugh for the viewer.
