Interesting breakdown of club appearances for Friday's Free-to-Air games. Rounds 9, 15 and 16 haven't been finalised as yet but it will probably follow the preferences below:-
Melbourne Victory 10
Brisbane Roar 8
Adelaide United 7
Sydney FC 6
Newcastle Jets 5
Western Sydney 4
Melbourne City 4
Central Coast 3
Perth Glory 1
Wellington Phoenix 0
Good viewing if you're a Tards fan, less so if you're a Glory or Nix supporter

It will be interesting to see how this effects crowds. Not sure if it will be an issue for the AU - MV game at AO. I hope we get an amazing crowd and all the country can now watch it free!

I'm surprised at the lack of exposure Melbourne City will get even with all their new talent. And only one chance to see Villa, against the Reds in Round 4.

I honestly think SBS are over-estimating their own brand here. Analogue's gone so we're all on digital and we can all get SBS2.
If people weren't watching HAL on SBS2 (and HD as it was), where's the evidence that they will watch it now on SBS One? To the great unwashed, Murdoch-press reading masses out there I'd say SBS is SBS.
Love to be proven wrong though.

I agree. I love SBS but I'm not a mainstream Aussie!I honestly think SBS are over-estimating their own brand here. Analogue's gone so we're all on digital and we can all get SBS2.

If we could get the HAL on 7,9 or 10 and they were obligated to do a good job of it then we will see a boost to exposure.

Yeah, well hopefully the Adelaide Oval game gets some good advertising and plenty of people at least watch on SBS and stick around during the season.
