How many "guest" players can you have at once?
I think two from memory. Not 100% sure though.

As many as Melbourne City want...

I wonder what this will do for our adelaide Melbourne rivalry.

It was hard to hate Heart but i imagine its going to be very easy to hate city. I wonder if in time we will forget about MV since they are the small team in melbourne now.

I don't like them already.

Good idea sevengoals, we need to give them a terrible and politically incorrect nickname like spastics or mentals maybe or the simple and incredibly obvious Melbourne Shitty. :p

Or we just ignore them and call them Heart.

City have Etihad as their main sponsor now, apparently the most lucrative sponsorship in the A-League. Melb Victory are now well and truly the little brother.

Financially yes, but I feel clubs need to win things before they can claim they're bigger then other clubs.

Seems like MV's stake holders are worried about city as a few are selling up leaving up to 35% of the club up for sale.

I cant wait till the adelaide oval game to hear us chant "your just the small team in melbourne "

Fark them both.
Let's ignore them as well.

I know this was announced last week but it's a big deal.

I find it funny still that so many people thought City would win the league by miles.

The City Football Group has today unveiled its new Australian training and administration facility – the City Football Academy, Melbourne – which will house the new headquarters of Melbourne City FC and become the City Football Group’s centre for football operations in the Asia Pacific region.
Read more at http://www.melbournecityfc.com.au/artic ... GHeQPcD.99

If City do win the HAL in the future it will be because of this and not the marquee players they sign.
Not only will City's players have a good advantage in the physical preparation they get, they will attract the best young talent as well.
